SPENSER'S DRAWING

My 8 year old Spenser asked me for a peice of paper to draw on while visiting Grandma and Grandpa a few days ago. He grabbed an old marker and excitedly skipped off into the dining room. When he reappeared, he handed me a peice of paper. On the front it read, "To Mom, From Spenser: See God's promas (promise) on the back." When I flipped over the paper, this is what I saw:

To me, this is the most beautiful picture my child has ever created. I didn't ask him to draw it, I hadn't been talking to him about anything in particular at that moment, because I was spending time with my dad. But in all of his sweet innocence, he drew me the most beautiful image I could ever imagine. The day Jesus sets His kingdom on earth. :-) What a sweet blessing and complete joy I have in my Spenser.
